Ontario students protest OSAP grant cuts at Queen's Park; two arrested
Hundreds of Ontario post-secondary students protested at the legislature Wednesday against the Ford government's plan to drastically reduce OSAP grants in favour of loans, effective this fall. The policy will shift the grant-to-loan ratio from 85-15 per cent to 25-75 per cent. Two arrests were made during the protest, with charges including mischief and assaulting police.
