Police name man who died after being hit by car during fight in Toronto
Toronto police have identified Erik Safar, 32, as the man who died after being struck by a vehicle during a fight early Sunday morning at Keele Street and Wilson Avenue. Officers responded to reports of a large altercation around 6 a.m., where Safar was reportedly assaulted and subsequently hit by a car. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police funeral for OPP Const. Tarun Bali to be held Thursday in Mississauga
A full police funeral for Ontario Provincial Constable Tarun Bali, who was killed in the line of duty on June 9, will take place on June 18 at the Mississauga Sports and Entertainment Centre.
