Police name man who died after being hit by car during fight in Toronto
Toronto police have identified Erik Safar, 32, as the man who died after being struck by a vehicle during a fight early Sunday morning at Keele Street and Wilson Avenue. Officers responded to reports of a large altercation around 6 a.m., where Safar was reportedly assaulted and subsequently hit by a car. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police funeral for OPP Const. Tarun Bali to be held Thursday in Mississauga
