Sources: Saints fill out RB depth with White trade
In a move to aid a running backs room that has been impacted by injuries during training camp, the New Orleans Saints acquired running back Zamir White in a trade that sent veteran linebacker Deion Jones to the San Francisco 49ers , sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Sunday night. White, who signed with the 49ers in early August, had faced long odds to make the team after running backs Christian McCaffrey (tightness), Kaelon Black. The Saints recently got back running back Kendre Miller (back) and also have offseason acquisition Travis Etienne Jr ., Ty Chandler and CJ Donaldson all healthy.
