Karnataka govt allocates ₹7,000 crore for Bengaluru development; metro expansion and corridor projects announced

Ward roads and infrastructure development across five city corporations cost ₹1,255 crore. Cauvery Phase VI water project (₹6,939 crore) will supply additional water to the city's 1.40 crore population.

Bengaluru residents have until March 16 to correct voter list errors for civic elections
Bengaluru Central city corporation has opened a feedback window for residents to verify and correct discrepancies in the revised draft voters' list ahead of civic elections. The revised list will be published on March 9, with citizens able to submit claims and objections between March 10-16 to electoral registration officers. Residents should report errors such as family members listed in different wards, incorrect voter details, or polling stations outside their geographical areas. The revised list covers 63 wards across six assembly constituencies: CV Raman Nagar, Shivajinagar, Shanthinagar, Gandhinagar, Chamarajpet, and Chickpet.
