A toddler in Bengaluru, who suffered severe brain and lung injuries from a road accident, has recovered after nearly a month of intensive care at Manipal Hospital Yelahanka. The child, Vihaan S. Jithin, faced multiple life-threatening conditions, including a multidrug-resistant infection, and required extensive medical interventions, including prolonged ventilator support and rehabilitation. After 30 days in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, he was discharged able to breathe independently and walk with assistance.
